Across cultures and centuries, humanity has revered fungi as a companion species. Woven into medicine, ritual, nourishment, and meaning. From East to West, mushrooms have been valued for their power to heal the body, protect the spirit, and expand the mind. There is a deep fascination with fungi because they sit at a rare intersection: ancient and future-facing, mystical and scientific, earthy and consciousness-shifting.
Mabel exists inside that lineage, translating it for modern life with integrity and care.
Mabel
Born in the late 19th century in New York, she was a wealthy socialite, a patron of the arts, a fierce advocate for women’s rights, and a rebel at heart. She married several times, radical for her era, but what makes her truly unforgettable wasn’t the scandal of it, but the courage behind it. She lived authentically and with passion, reinventing herself throughout life. She was also one of the first women to document her psychedelic experiences in a time when women were expected to stay small and silent.
I first came across her story by accident. I was walking along the Seine with its antique bookstores, when I found a worn autobiography. I took it home, and the more I read, the more it felt like a missing piece clicking into place.
Her story answered something in me. Not a blueprint, more of a compass. A reminder that integrity, curiosity, and refusal to shrink are the values I want to live out loud, and invite others into.
Her name was Mabel.

Our Founder
You see, this company is personal to me. Mushrooms didn’t enter my life as a trend; they entered as a turning point. For years, I struggled with low self-esteem, fractured focus, terrible sleep, and the constant sense of not being enough. I reached a point where I no longer trusted my own instincts. Then I found fungi and what began as curiosity became a rebuilding. The shift was profound, the anxiety softened and left, focus came back, sleep deepened, and I began to trust myself in a way that went far beyond repair.
Somewhere in the middle of that process, one question kept rising: if fungi can help me rebuild myself this way, why isn’t this kind of support already out there and available ?.
So here we are, my attempt to share the profoundly life-changing powers of fungi.
