No one size fits all
Just like all forms of medicine, finding what works best for you depends on your body’s unique makeup. Our metabolic systems differ, our bodies respond in individual ways, and what feels right for one person might be too much or too little for another.
What is the sweet spot?
The sweet spot is where microdosing feels just right, noticeable but not overwhelming. It’s the point where the effects are present, like a gentle hum in the background, helping you feel more focused, uplifted, or calm without overpowering your daily life. It should never feel overwhelming, but rather like a subtle enhancement that supports your well-being. Some call it the Flow State.
Start low, go slow
To find your sweet spot, we recommend starting with half a dose, even if the packaging suggests a full dose. This allows your body to adjust gradually, giving you time to really notice how you feel. Pay attention to subtle shifts in your mood, focus, or energy. Remember, with microdosing, less is often more, and the journey is about tuning into your own rhythm.
Listen to your body
Microdosing should be a gentle experience, where you feel just under the surface, not completely undetectable but never overwhelming. If you feel too much, try lowering the dose; if you feel nothing at all, consider slowly increasing it. You can open another little dose and add this. Trust your body to guide you, it knows best. You can keep the rest of you dose in a little piece of foil so that the truffles dont dry out.
Adjusting over time
As you continue on this journey, your sweet spot might change. It’s all normal, we all learnt o adjust our dose over time as your body becomes more familiar with the effects. Don’t be afraid to experiment within a safe range to maintain that balanced feeling or the Flow State.
Feeling overwhelmed
If it one day feels overwhelming it might be because burried emotions or trauma is resurfacing. When microdosing these emotions might slowly resurface, and that can sometimes lead to feeling extra sensitive, bursting into tears or feeling tired.
This is perfectly normal and a healthy sign that you are beginning to process these feelings. If this happens, take some time for yourself, sit with these thoughts and memories and accept them and yourself. Accept them, embrace them and then gently let them go. You will find that after a few days these will be more and more easy to recognize, process and let go off.
Take it slow, find your flow
Remember, microdosing is about creating a long-term relationship with your well-being. By finding your sweet spot, you allow the subtle power of psilocybin to become a companion in your everyday life, offering a boost when you need it most. Take your time, explore what feels right, and enjoy the journey toward your best self.
How to use
A quick reminder on how to take and use your truffles.
- Start by cutting open one of the 6 doses on your strip (there are 3 strips in a box, for a total of 18 doses).
- One dose consists of many small truffles, which together represent 1 gram.
Swallow about half a dose with a glass of water. It’s excellent to add some lemon juice to the water, as it helps break down the psilocybin. - Store the remaining truffles in the fridge for preservation.
- Gradually increase the dose if needed. After a few days, if this feels good, increase to a full dose (1 gram).
- If this still doesn’t feel enough, chew the dose instead of swallowing it. Chewing increases the surface area of the truffles, which improves absorption into the bloodstream, leading to a stronger effect.
- If this is still not enough, start exploring taking a dose and a half, then gradually increase until you find your "sweet spot.
